Description

:iconwindsonde: Official map of Windsonde!

:bulletgreen:Twistoult:bulletgreen:
Dail: The only human settlement on Windsonde.
Ausaurdonde Plateau: Rainforest plateau, has the most impressive waterfalls in all of Windsonde. Its steep cliffs provide living space for many of the Aerie's inhabitants. A small stretch of river in the northernmost tip harbors beautiful travertine pools.
Growsrathe Mesa: The Queen's personal living quarters are located atop this majestic table-top mountain.
Wyrfronde Deltas: Vast wetlands that frequently flood.
Ausaurdonde Lake: A large mountain lake with clear blue water.
Steps of Balodius: Deep natural sinkholes exposing the groundwater beneath. Associated with The Grey and thus of great spiritual significance.
Fraohr Swamp: A peninsula covered almost entirely by swamplands. A large blue lagoon on its westernmost coast is the highlight of the area.
Ausaurdonde Mountains: Tall and covered with lush vegetation that transitions from tropical deciduous rainforest to coniferous forest at higher elevations. This mountain range marks the border between Twistoult and Grandesque.

:bulletorange:Grandesque:bulletorange:
Canyonlands: All of Grandesque's major canyons are large, steep-sided canyons cut by their respective rivers. The canyon cliffs are the Aerie's living space, with each "neighborhood" sharing the name of the canyon. The further the canyon system is from the Skrekrill border, the more coveted a location it is. North Maffickar is the most luxurious, and reserved for the Queen and those close to her. East Maffickar is home to most of Grandesque's Faclair. The Grand Damfino is where most of the population lives, with East Damfino being a good alternative for those who cannot afford Grand Damfino. Those who live in Bestehend wish they could afford better, with the only perk to these canyons being the coveted hot springs just north of them.
Maffickar Plains: A varied terrain with interesting features, the most notable being the salt pans and the cavernous hole (known as Maffickar Hole) the Maffickar River abruptly plunges into, some way south of Maffickar Lake.
Podsnapede: An area known for its striking rock formations and interesting colors. A popular location with youngsters looking for thrills.
Kollege Rock: A monumental formation of red rock and the site of Grandesque's largest bazaar.
Statchelfind: A large area of scrub desert with interesting rock formations and funky-looking trees.
Kangur Badlands: A dry, hostile-looking area of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles, and spires blended with mixed grass prairie. A neighborhood most like to avoid.
Kotchham Desert: The driest area in Windsonde. Few ever go there, except as a travel route between Twistoult and Skrekrill.

:bulletred:Skrekrill:bulletred:
Sklepende: A hellish area of boiling geysers, deadly gas vents, and deceptively inviting caustic pools.
Lichternacht: An area of karstic plateaus that has been eroded into a forest of limestone needles. Skrekrill's gangs like to prowl this area along with Kangur.
Steinspen Mountains: This mountain range contains several fairly active volcanoes. The land east of them is mostly comprised of lava plains and ash fields.
Magia Caldera: A large collapsed volcano featuring a lake at its floor. Queen Maud is rumored to live here, but no one knows for sure.

:bulletgreen:Tookie Island:bulletgreen:
Tookie Mountain: The island's only mountain. Surrounded and covered by a tropical rainforest, known as Tookie Forest.
Tookie River: The Island's largest river. Is surrounded by a swamp, known as Tookie Swamp.
