Fancy Pigeon Griffin

I think it's finally time to post this critter. It's the finished version of

A fancy-pigeon inspired griffin, done for my creature design class! A mix of Jacobin, Capuchine, Fantail Dove, and Indian Fantasy pigeon breeds, with a sprinkling of Rough-legged Hawk.

For some crazy reason or other, I decided to push my digital painting further than I usually do (and maybe a bit too far for what was really required for the assignment... oops?)
As a result, this took me way longer than it should have, but I learned a ton and I'm very happy with the result!


CoyoteMange's feather brushes helped me out when I was in a pinch.
