Wow I haven't posted a new journal since April. Sorry about that!

So! My first semester of my Science Illustration graduate certificate course just wrapped up! It kept me very busy, but I had a blast! As soon as I can, I will scan the works I made for it and post them online. Some of them are already on my tumblr and on my instagram. I started it in late September, and it was very scary being away from my family for the first time, but now it is pretty relaxing to be the master of my own time. That said, I do really miss my fam, especially nekonotaishou

I have just about a month now before the next semester picks up, and the instructors have promised us that the next one will be even more intensive. But for now I'm just going to go home and enjoy being with my family again.

Until then, I would like to do some commission work, some stuff like this again:
Commissions! Officially open!Thank you so much for the feedback! Consider these painterly "pay what you want" portrait commissions officially open!
The idea is that you pay whatever you want, and I will paint a portrait of the subject of your choosing in a size and detail level dependent on what you choose to pay.
Animals and creatures are my preferred subject matter, but I am willing to paint anything! Humans, anthro, pokemon/digimon, robots, dragons, pets, original characters, game characters, favorite characters, etc.!
Once I have finished your commission and given it to you, you can do whatever you like with it except claim you made it. Please always credit me for it, and a link back to my page would be greatly appreciated.
As per suggestion, I have upped the minimum price to $20 USD.
You pay once I have shown you the completed image. Once you have paid, I will send you a large version without a watermark.
So, as for the art style, it would range from about this:

So, if anyone wants $20 portraits, drop me a note! Fullbodies would be between $40-$50 on a "pay what you want" basis, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for in terms of effort and time spent.
